Admissions to all courses are open only to the canddcdcidates belonging to the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

POST GRADUATE MEDICAL SPECIALITY COURSES OF MD/MS (Post MBBS)

The admissions shall be made through NEET-PG and no separate entrance examination shall be conducted by the Institute. The procedure for implementation of the reservation for MD/MS courses in favour of local and non-local candidates will be followed as per GOP No.646 dated 10^th July, 1979. The schedule as issued by the MCI/NBE from time to time will be followed and if any changes made will be intimated through NIMS website.

Note:- *New Courses started and additional seats permitted by Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi vide letters dated 19-02-2016,
17-02-2017 & 28-02-2017. The distribution of seats among local and non-local will be followed as per Memo No.991/C1/2014 dated 14-08-2014.

Note :- NIMS also offered NBE approved courses i.e., DNB in Radiology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology and Medical Gastroenterology but the process of admission is through a National Entrance Test.
